Nethy Bridge offers the most amazing walks and cycle paths from the cottage door. You can choose a simple stroll or longer adventure through the beautiful scenery of Caledonian Pine Forest in the Abernethy Nature Reserve. And if you have little ones the village paths are all abilities so perfect for buggies and balance bikes. Within a few minutes’ walk, there is a playpark, football pitch, tennis courts and Abernethy Golf Course.

Our family love wild swimming and being based in Nethy Bridge there are plenty of lochs for wild swimming of all ages.
We live in the village with our children and have grown up exploring this incredible part of the world. We have no doubt you will easily fill your days.
The Surrounding Area
Aviemore is only 15 minutes away and offers a cinema and soft play area.
The Malt Whisky Trail is within 30 miles away where you will find some of the finest distilleries in the world.
Local Fishing Permits for the famous Spey River are also available locally.
Fantastic Food
The village also has a local shop, the fantastic Balliefurth Butchers and a Fish n Chip Van which is available one day a week.
Jump in the car and the selection of charming local cafes and restaurants will not disappoint. We are passionate about good local food so if you book with us we will recommend our faves!

Abernethy Primary School raised an AMAZING £18744.73 as part of the schools challenge fundraising. 👏 They will receive an extra £2,500 taking their total to £21,244.73!!😆
They did everything from selling ice cream and merch to getting the whole community behind them to raise vital funds to improve their new library project. 📚📖
Well done to Abernethy Primary, all the parent council, teachers, parents and pupils who were involved! ❤
